Gallery: Order of Malta QLD Branch Dinner in honour of the Archbishop of Brisbane

The Queensland Branch had the pleasure of hosting a black tie dinner in honour of His Grace, Archbishop Mark Coleridge with special guests His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AO QC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey in the Premiers and Speakers Rooms, Queensland Parliament on 1st April.

 Other distinguished guests on the evening included Bishops Joseph Oudeman and Brian Finnigan, Dr Mark Robinson MP and Mrs Julie Robinson, Confrere Dr Ian Marshall, National President of our Order, and Mrs Judith Marshall.

 Proceeds from the evening have been directed to the Coats for the Homeless Campaign, with over $30,000 being raised on the evening. The Qld Branch wishes to express special thanks to Confrere Shane and Josephine Stone as Official Dinner Partners for the evening. Further acknowledgement is extended to Confrere Ashley and Shirley Goldsworthy and the Parishioners of Our Lady of the Angels Parish, West Chermside/Wavell Heights as official sponsors.

 Addressing the 101 guests, His Excellency spoke of the need for individuals and organisations to work for the benefit of their communities. His Excellency, a distinguished member of the Venerable Order of St John, especially recognised the close association between the Venerable and Sovereign Orders of St John.
