Annual Archbishop’s Dinner

Following on from the success of last year’s dinner where The Most Reverend Mark Coleridge, Archbishop of Brisbane and Magistral Chaplain of the Order delivered a stirring Oration on the spirituality of the Order we are holding another dinner this year.

This year’s guest speaker will be His Excellency The Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, Governor of Queensland. The Governor is a member of the Venerable Order of St. John of Great Britain, which has links with the Order of Malta as both organisations are members of the “Mutually Recognised Orders of Saint John”. The Venerable Order and the Order of Malta have signed Conventions in 1963 and again in 1987 recognising each other and their mutual co-operation through such projects as the St John Eye Hospital, London.

His Excellency will be accompanied by Mrs Kaye de Jersey, and the Governor will address guests. Archbishop Mark Coleridge will also be in attendance.

Date: Friday 1st April 2016

Time: 7.00pm for 7.30pm

Subscription: $200 per head
